231 is a 2005 75' E-One Quint.  Second-due to fire calls in the district.  Capable of seating 5 firefighters plus a driver.  Often seen backfilling Ithaca Central Station. 

231 is equipped with a 75' aerial ladder, a full complement of ground ladders, a water pump and 500 gallon water tank.  This gives 231 the ability to operate as an engine or a ladder truck.  It also carries:
