Apartment Fire

On February 18 at 1737 CHFD was dispatched on an automatic mutual aid assignment for a reported apartment fire in the Village of Lansing. Quint 231 and Engines 203 and 202 responded. Quint 231 was the first arriving suppression apparatus, and firefighters from 231’s crew quickly stretched a hose line for fire attack and deployed the aerial ladder for ventilation.

CHFD firefighters on scene contributed to fire attack, ventilation, and search efforts alongside firefighters from Lansing Fire Department and Ithaca Fire Department.

The fire was brought under control and all CHFD units are back in service. We are proud to assist our mutual aid partners.
