On February 18 at 1737 CHFD was dispatched on an automatic mutual aid assignment for a reported apartment fire in the Village of Lansing. Quint 231 and Engines 203 and 202 responded. Yesterday at 1930 CHFD was requested mutual aid to the Town of Lansing for a reported structure fire. CHFD Engine 3, Engine 2, Ladder 1, and Car 2 responded. Engine 3 arrived on scene and assumed the attack position, flowing water to handlines for fire suppression. The remaining CHFD units assisted LFD with other fireground tasks.
