Yesterday at 1930 CHFD was requested mutual aid to the Town of Lansing for a reported structure fire. CHFD Engine 3, Engine 2, Ladder 1, and Car 2 responded.
Engine 3 arrived on scene and assumed the attack position, flowing water to handlines for fire suppression. The remaining CHFD units assisted LFD with other fireground tasks. This was the second first-due working structure fire for Engine 3 in the last two weeks.
No injuries have been reported. We are proud to assist our mutual aid partners.
